While remakes of classic horror films tend to flop something horribly (see Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, and Halloween), fans of the horror genre were pleasantly surprised with Andy Muschietti’s re-imagining of Stephen King‘s classic, It.
Since it’s release in 2017 anticipation has been building for the final chapter featuring a grown up “Loser’s Club” taking on the clown from hell that done left them with traumatic childhood memories [enter Donald Trump Immigrant Internment Camp metaphor here]. In the latest trailer to It Chapter Two we find the heroic children from Cape Cod turned jaded adults once again face-to-face with the boogyman that feasts on kids like veal. Yet even with fear painted on their faces the heroes from yesteryear do what they can to try to prevent another baby buffet from being had in Massachusetts.
With the sequel boasting the talents of Hollywood heavyweights such as Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, and Bill Hader, It Chapter Two is set to scare up big bucks at the box office come September 6.
Check out the trailer below and remember that there’s nothing to fear but the Trump administration itself.
