5 For 5 is a fun little series we’re doing just to get to know people in the entertainment world a little bit better as people first and their respective brands second.
We ask 5 questions that should only take about 5 minutes to both answer and or read! So enjoy!
Now, whether you loved him on HBO’s critically acclaimed cult classic TV show “The Wire” or are currently enjoying him on the Bounce TV hit “Saints & Sinners” or both, one thing is for sure. When you watch Tray Chaney in his element, you are definitely entertained! Check out his sit down with us below!
THS: Let’s go back for a min. You’re 6 years old and in front of the TV on Saturday morning. What are you watching?
Tray: I was definitely watching “Good Times” and “The Jeffersons” as well as anything music related that had something to do with Michael Jackson! I wanted to be MJ.
THS: Wait, so you didn’t watch Saturday morning cartoons?
Tray: Nah. (Laughter) Sometimes, I’d watch “Alvin And The Chipmunks” or “The Flintstones. But no not really. (Laughter)
THS: What was your favorite thing to eat in your school cafeteria?
Tray: Pizza because they had the square kind of pizza!
THS: How old were you when you got your first real job and where did you work?
Tray: If we’re talking about a 9-5, I was 14. I worked at a restaurant called “The Toddle House” in the DMV. It reminded me of the “Waffle House” but the joint got robbed! (Shakes head)
THS: Are you a PB&J kinda guy or are you more of a BLT enthusiast?
Tray: BLT! I’m a healthy type of guy! (Laughs)
THS: What was the one toy you wanted as a kid that you never got?
Tray: I never played with actual toys. My parents would try to buy me toys but all I wanted and played with was a radio and a microphone that they got for me. I was into entertainment only.
