Flashy, funky and musically so far ahead of their time, Roger Troutman and his beloved group Zapp took their meteoric rise from Dayton, OH to the skies worldwide. They were chosen by many as the ones to beat in the funk realm and Roger had throngs of fans through multiple generations dancing and falling in love through his futuristic sounds and unheard of guitar riffs. But their ride on the tail of a musical comet was cut short when a falling out between brothers took out the very stars that enabled the whole group to shine.
