According to Nellie Andreeva over at Deadline, FXX, the younger skewing, hipper sister network to FX, is giving a straight-to- series order to a new comedy series starring Tracy Morgan. The currently untitled series is brought to you by the folks behind It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which is almost guaranteed that it’ll be hilarious, even though we don’t know the premise of the show.
Morgan also recently starred in a pilot called Death Pact where he played a formerly lazy, pot-dealing assistant high school coach who returns to his hometown as a decorated war hero. But apparently, that show most likely won’t be picked up. We’ll see what happens.
