Kevin Hart stays busy voicing new animated film, possible TV show

KevinHartKevin Hart is not going away anytime soon, folks. His film with Ice Cube, Ride Along, is breaking records, he has another film About Last Night, dropping next month and he has projects planned all throughout the year. And he’s adding more.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hart will be joining Louis C.K. and Eric Stonestreet in an upcoming animated film directed by Chris Renuad, who directed both Despicable Me films. The story, currently untitled, follows a pampered terrier (C.K.) who teams up with a mangy dog (Stonestreet) to stop an evil bunny (Hart) who is building up an army of abandoned pets. That sounds hilarious.

According to Deadline, Hart is also up for having his life story turned into a sitcom. ABC has apparently ordered a cast-contingent pilot based on his stand-up comedy and life in general. The show would follow the Hart character post-divorce as he tries to forge a healthy relationship with his ex-wife to raise his kids. Hart wouldn’t star in the show, but would have a recurring role.
